A Franchise Disclosure Document, commonly referred to as an FDD, is a legal document the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires franchisors to provide prospective franchisees before selling them a franchise. With the annual renewal of Wed Society’s Franchise Disclosure Document comes a few notable changes and incentives.
Highlights from Item 19 provide valuable insight into the performance potential within the Wed Society network. While not required, Item 19 is intentionally included to give prospective franchisees a transparent view of historical results and a foundation for their own projections. In 2025, the average mature market generated more than $789,000 in revenue, while startup markets secured over $236,000 in contracts within their first year. Additionally, our Market Introduction Program drove more than 3 million content views over a 24-week period—demonstrating the strength of our launch strategy and the momentum new markets can build from day one.
In 2026, Wed Society continues to offer the Industry Pro or Military Incentive for qualifying individuals with at least three years of qualifying advertising sales experience, or at least three years of qualifying business-to-business sales or business ownership experience within the wedding industry, or an honorable discharge from the United States Armed Forces. Individuals who qualify will receive a $5,000 discount off the franchise fee.
Additionally, Wed Society is offering a limited-time Jump Start Incentive to support franchisees who elect to launch with a high-growth sales structure. The program has a total potential value of $15,000 and is designed to reward franchisees who open their territory with a minimum of two full-time sales roles (at a minimum, the active selling Owner and one full-time Sales Executive), plus a full-time Community Manager, and maintain that structure through early-stage ramp-up. The incentive is paid based on the achievement of three milestones.
